Inspects, diagnoses, services, and maintains range of commercial grade diesel trucks, tractor trailers, vans, forklifts, pallet jacks, reefer units, and other equipment. Responsible for traveling to Payless stores, on-site locations of disabled vehicles, or the warehouse facility to inspect various equipment and to perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs as needed.

Perform routine maintenance on vehicles, forklifts, and other equipment.
Diagnose causes of malfunctions and perform necessary repairs.
Regular communication with Warehouse Manager
Verify vehicle serviceability through test drives and system adjustments
Document all work performed and provide recommendations on repair orders.
Maintains excellent customer service
Maintain a clean and organized mechanic shop at all times
Follows all safety rules and reports any accidents or injuries promptly to Warehouse Manager
Comply with local/federal vehicle and safety requirements by testing engine, safety, and combustion control standards
Pursue ongoing education and training to stay current with industry best practices.

Education/Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid Guam Driver’s License
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Able to read and speak in English
Must be able to uphold our company’s mission statement
Proven work experience as a mechanic working with commercial grade vehicles
Understanding of computer testing technologies
Strong Communication Skills
Effective Time Management and Organizational Skills
Ability to work on weekends, as needed
Ability to lift heavy machinery
Must be capable of working in an environment in which demands and priorities change rapidly
