Meat Merchandiser
Job Purpose:
Assists management with product preparation and identification, to include displaying on a flexible work schedule.

May receive, identify, organize, tag, label, document, package, wrap, seal, price, prepare, cut, slice, serve, gather, group, separate, rotate, and/or otherwise record product in work area of concern.

Maintains cleanliness and sanitary conditions of work, staging, storage, and display areas – ensuring Pay-Less and regulatory agency standards are met and exceeded.

Puts into practice knowledge is cognizant of advertising, programs, projects, policies, practices, procedures, rules, and regulations and correspondingly answers customers’ questions.

Assists with product preparation for next business day.

Assists with disposing of product waste resultant of preparatory procedures.

Provides assistance relative to monthly and fiscal inventories. May provide input and/or compile documentation for recordkeeping information relative to product "on-hand", product needed, "out-dated" product, damage and spoilage.

Displays good customer service skills.

Directs customers to the proper location when asked where items can be found.

Education/Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent
Certifications

Valid Health Certificate
