Point of Sale (POS) Clerk
The Point of Sale (POS) Clerk Assists with the preparation, verification, changes, corrections, and placement of shelf tags and labels for store merchandise - on flexible schedule.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

- Must have knowledge and is cognizant of product, advertising, policies, practices, procedures, rules regulations.
- Is supervised assisting with the operation of cash register, adding machine, weight scale, data collectors and computer as needed in the performance of job.
- Assists in verifying all merchandise are priced and the pricing is accurate on a daily basis with stores and vendors.
- Assures all tags, labels, and ad signages are accurate - on a daily basis.
- Understand the mechanics of the POS backend system to navigate, make appropriate changes, and run reports.
- Can accurately input data efficiently and effectively.
- Assists with monthly and fiscal inventories.
- Displays good customer service skills.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Additional Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Education/Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent is required
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Must be able to uphold our company's mission statement
- Working knowledge of cash register, adding machine, symbol & computers.
- Valid health certificate.
- Experience in GSS - Grocery Support System or BRData.
- Excellent customer service and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in merchandising software, Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
