- Green onions, chopped and roasted sesame seeds for garnish
In a medium bowl, combine soy sauce, rice wine vinegar, water, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, and red pepper flakes. Whisk ingredients together until sugar is dissolved.
Remove 2/3 cup of mixture and set aside for later.
Place wings and drums in sauce mixture and mix until chicken is evenly coated.
Place bowl in refrigerator and allow to marinate for at least 4 hours.
Preheat oven to 425°F.
Once chicken has been marinated, place chicken on a metal wire cooling rack on a foil lined baking sheet.
Bake chicken for 20 minutes on each side. Once chicken is cooked, remove from oven and brush with thickened sauce mixture. Return chicken to oven and broil for 3-5 minutes. Garnish with chopped green onion and roasted sesame seeds.
