Quinoa Vegan Burger: 8 (2 oz) Patties
Ingredients
- ½ C Onion
- 1 Tbsp Sliced Garlic
- 2C Quinoa (Cooked)
- 1C Sweet Potato (Cooked)
- ¼C Fresh Basil
- ¼C Fresh Parsley
- 2 Tbsp Unsalted Sunflower Seeds
- As Needed Olive Oil
- Flax Meal binder: 1 Tbsp Flax Meal; 3 Tbsp Water
Directions
Preheat oven to 375 F.
In a food processor add all ingredients and pulse until combined. On a baking sheet evenly spread mixture and bake for 8-10 min.
Add mixture to a bowl and let cool.
Once cooled add flax meal binder and combine well.
Divide mixture into 8 (2 oz) patties and refrigerate for 20-30 min to let set up.
Pre heat a non stick pan on med hi heat.
Add olive oil and sear patties on 1 side for 2-3 min or until golden brown. Flip patty over and brown for another 2-3 min.
